Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with De Tech Rules. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled.


1. Returns

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.

  • A return request must be made within 14 days of receiving the item.

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Digital products or downloads

  • Earphones/headphones once opened (for hygiene reasons)

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Customised or personalised items

  • Products damaged due to misuse or neglect


2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If Approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Refund processing typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be granted if:

  • The item shows signs of use

  • Parts or accessories are missing

  • Packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary for opening


3. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items that are:

  • Defective

  • Damaged during delivery

  • Incorrect items sent by mistake

Requests for an exchange must be made within 14 days of delivery.
If the item is no longer in stock, we will issue a refund or offer store credit.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your product is defective or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it.
Provide photos or videos of the issue to help us process your claim quickly.

We will arrange either:

  • A replacement

  • An exchange

  • Or a refund, depending on stock availability


5. Return Shipping

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • The wrong item was sent

  • The product is defective

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Original Shipping Fees

Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless required by law.


6. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase if they have not yet been processed or shipped.
Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process.
